TiE and TiE Angels
TiE is a non-profit, global community welcoming entrepreneurs from all over the world. TiE believes in the power of ideas to change the face of entrepreneurship and growing business through five pillars; mentoring, networking, education, incubating and funding. TiE was founded in 1992 by a group of successful entrepreneurs and is currently the world's largest entrepreneurial organization out there.
TiE Angels is one of the largest and most active angel groups in Silicon Valley. TiE Angels bring together promising early stage companies and exposes them to serial entrepreneurs, high tech executives, and other professional investors — and has led to many successful exits as well as follow-on funding (series A, B, C).
Jumpstart
Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network is a member-led, angel group of successful serial entrepreneurs, business executives and venture capitalists which actively invests in early-stage startup technology ventures in New Jersey and the Mid-Atlantic region.
Jumpstart members have diverse interests and preferences. Areas of investment interest include software as a service technology (SaaS), internet of things (IOT), telecommunications, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare tech, medical devices, alternative energy, shipping and logistics tech, cybersecurity and fin-tech Members have deep knowledge and experience in many areas and invest not only their dollars but their expertise in helping young companies grow.
